Buying from us

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship it. If we cannot fill an order, we will refund you in full and tell you why.

Prices and availability

Prices are in U.S. dollars and can change. Everything is made in small batches, so a product can sell out between the time you add it to your cart and the time you check out. If a price on this site is clearly wrong, we may cancel the order and refund you rather than honor the error.

Checkout and payment

Checkout is handled on a secure page hosted by From The Farm. Their terms apply to that step in addition to these.

What our products are

Before Modern makes skincare, not medicine. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Nothing on this site is medical advice. Patch test if you have sensitive skin, and stop using a product if it irritates you.

The text, photographs, and the Before Modern name and mark on this site belong to us. Please do not reuse them without asking.
